Volleyball Game Preview: Braden River Pirates vs. Northeast Vikings + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Braden River Pirates and the Northeast Vikings will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Braden River will be strutting in after a victory while Northeast will be coming in after a loss.

Braden River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Port Charlotte. The win made it back-to-back victories for Braden River.

Braden River was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-20.

Braden River's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Rilyn Stiegler, who had 12 digs and six assists, and Ella Rodgers, who had seven digs. Those seven digs gave Rodgers a new career-high.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Northeast's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to St. Petersburg. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vikings have suffered since October 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-19.

Braden River's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.
