Softball Recap: Bledsoe County's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bledsoe County dropped their record down to 12-6-1 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Rhea County Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 7th.

Josie Potter spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Macy Holland was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.
