Genesee had won two straight games and Averie Zinn did her part to make it three on Friday. The Genesee Wolves were the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over the Morrice Orioles thanks in part to Zinn, who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine steals. Her evening made it 33 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Autumn Simpson, who posted six points along with 12 rebounds and five steals. Genesee is 11-1 when Simpson posts three or more steals, but 1-4 otherwise.

Genesee's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Morrice, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesee will square off against Memphis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morrice, they will face off against Livingston Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
