If Ridgeway wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Millington Central, they should've done a better job of containing Cole Hawkins. The Trojans breezed past the Roadrunners to the tune of 33-2 on Thursday thanks in part to Hawkins, who threw for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of Millington Central's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-5 otherwise.

Millington Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Ridgeway, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Millington Central will take on South Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Hornets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. Ridgeway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
