Football Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 61-7 defeat at the hands of the North Kansas City Hornets. The Bulldogs lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-12 score last time.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Kansas City, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview will venture away from home to challenge Excelsior Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Kansas City, they will head out to take on Oak Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Northmen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
