Basketball Recap: Goodrich Comes Up Short

Goodrich won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Chester Yellowjackets 53-10. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost three in a row.

Goodrich's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Chester, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Goodrich will be home for the holidays to greet Hull-Daisetta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chester, they will venture away from home to take on Leggett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leggett will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Chester surely won't give up without a fight.
