Basketball Recap: Christian Ministries Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Fayetteville Christian

It's playoff time, and Christian Ministries Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Fayetteville Christian Eagles 60-57. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Christian Ministries Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gavin Hicks led the charge by dropping a triple-double with 14 points, 16 boards, and ten assists. That's the most rebounds Hicks has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Oliver, who went 8-for-15 en route to 19 points.

Christian Ministries Academy's record is now 21-6. As for Fayetteville Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-6.
