Soccer Recap: Middle Tennessee F Extends Winning Streak to Three

Middle Tennessee F proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Nashville Christian Eagles by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Middle Tennessee F sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Middle Tennessee F pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Nashville Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season.

Middle Tennessee F will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Davidson Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Nashville Christian, they will square off against Goodpasture Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Goodpasture Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Nashville Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
