Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Victorious

Hillcrest proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Keller Central Chargers a 2-0 shutout.

Hillcrest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Hunter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 17-8-1. As for Keller Central, they dropped their record down to 5-16-1 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hillcrest will square off against Trinity Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keller Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
