Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Calvary Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Fairwinds Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The LIONS came up short against Central Christian on Monday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-13.

Karlee Fibelkorn paced Calvary Christian Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Fibelkorn also shared the team's lead in assists with Kate Malinky (HS): they picked up three each. Finally, Marsaia Parker-Cason kept Calvary Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Calvary Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Central Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Calvary Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 7th. Central Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
