Basketball Game Preview: Skyview Hawks vs. Columbia Wildcats

The Skyview Hawks will take on the Columbia Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Skyview has given up an average of 51.6 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Skyview is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Middleton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 59-39 to the Vikings. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Columbia won against Caldwell on Wednesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Columbia put the hurt on Bishop Kelly with a sharp 73-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Skyview's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Columbia, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Skyview was able to grind out a solid victory over Columbia in their previous matchup back in February, winning 70-62. Does Skyview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Columbia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
