Baseball Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Toppenish Wildcats, falling 13-0. If the Greyhounds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grandview's record now sits at 1-15. As for Toppenish, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grandview will host East Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Greyhounds' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Toppenish, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Prosser at 11:00 a.m. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
