Basketball Recap: Michigan Center Comes Up Short

Michigan Center suffered their biggest defeat since November 25, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Hanover-Horton Comets, falling 66-44. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Comets earlier this season, when they won 73-53.

Michigan Center's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Hanover-Horton, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-8.

Michigan Center will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tournament Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on February 26th. Hanover-Horton will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Vandercook Lake at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th.
