Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only University walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the North Putnam Cougars on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Bruno Lukin as he scored three goals for his team.

The win was the fifth in a row for University, bringing their record up to 11-5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five contests. As for North Putnam, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1.

University wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Covenant Christian on the 11th. North Putnam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
