Soccer Recap: Franklin Central Takes a Loss

Franklin Central entered their contest against Edmeston Central on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Purple Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Franklin Central of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Shannon Kingsbury, who's now up to 30 this season.

Franklin Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Edmeston Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
