Soccer Game Preview: Heide Trask vs. North Brunswick

Heide Trask is 0-4 against North Brunswick since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Titans will head out on the road to take on the Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. Heide Trask will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.

Heide Trask's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on East Columbus with a sharp 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for Heide Trask, who have now won eight contests by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but North Brunswick ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over West Brunswick. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but North Brunswick were the better team in the second half.

Heide Trask's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those six games. As for North Brunswick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Heide Trask might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from North Brunswick in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
