Basketball Recap: Rowe-Clark Takes Down Chicago Academy in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rowe-Clark walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 57-35 margin over the Chicago Academy Cougars on Monday.

Marcus Fossett was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double with 12 points, ten rebounds, and 12 assists. Those 12 assists gave him a new career-high. Quincy Stone was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Rowe-Clark was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Rowe-Clark picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-11. As for Chicago Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Coming up, Rowe-Clark will venture away from home to take on Montini Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montini Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Rowe-Clark surely won't give up without a fight. Chicago Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
