Soccer Game Preview: Douglas vs. University Park

The Douglas Tigers will head out to face off against University Park at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. University Park took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Douglas, who comes in off a win.

Douglas headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for four straight, but Blackstone-Millville let them put that streak behind them. The Tigers blew past the Chargers 5-0 on Friday. Douglas haven't had any issues with Blackstone-Millville recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, University Park fell victim to Keefe Tech and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Broncos. While losing is never fun, University Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Keefe Tech is ranked 132nd).

University Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Douglas, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9-2.
