Basketball Recap: North Nodaway Comes Up Short

North Nodaway lost against King City back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The North Nodaway Mustangs were outmatched by the King City Wildkats and fell 45-16.

North Nodaway has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for King City, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Nodaway will head out to take on Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully North Nodaway likes a good challenge. As for King City, they will head out on the road to face off against North Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
