Baseball Recap: Colfax Vikings vs. Glenwood City Hilltoppers

Colfax had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-11 to make it nine. They lost 12-4 to the Glenwood City Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 back in April.

Drew Buchner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Klinger has become a key player for the Hilltoppers: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Corey Strong was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
