It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Cartersville Hurricanes had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They strolled past the Bears with points to spare, taking the game 64-48. The win was just what Cartersville needed coming off of a 59-35 loss in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cartersville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nayel Camper, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals. Camper continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Zoie Shiflett was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds.
Cartersville has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Cambridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.
Cartersville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-64 victory vs. Jefferson on the 23rd. Cambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
