Mt. Pleasant lost against Greater Latrobe back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Mt. Pleasant's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tyke Snyder and Gavin Rummel scored both of Mt. Pleasant's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Greater Latrobe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will host Southmoreland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greater Latrobe, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Mt. Carmel Christian on the 13th.
