Football Recap: Gadsden County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gadsden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 45-14 loss at the hands of The First Academy Royals. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Royals are ranked ninth).

Gadsden County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for The First Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Gadsden County will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The First Academy, they will head out to face off against St. Frances Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so the Royals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
