Basketball Recap: Jamari Tyson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Homestead over Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech

Homestead saw some tournament action on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 71-56 to the Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech Tigers. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamari Tyson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Tyson is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Nicolas Liz was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Homestead now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Homestead has already played their next matchup, a 70-67 win against Potter's House Christian Blue on the 29th. As for Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-56 victory against Aubrey Rogers on the 29th.
