Carson Evans posted a new career-high in stolen bases on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Wednesday's match, in which he improved his previous run total for three consecutive games.

Evans' strong effort led Kearns over Hunter and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines are limping into the matchup having lost 13 straight on the road dating back to last season.
