The Melbourne Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Winter Park Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Melbourne posted their biggest victory since December 4, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past West Shore 49-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Melbourne has posted against West Shore since November 28, 2018.
Melbourne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alison Hayes, who scored 17 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hayes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cecelia Nardone, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and five assists.
Meanwhile, Winter Park beat Mount Dora Christian Academy 38-31 on Tuesday.
The victory makes it two in a row for Melbourne and bumps their season record up to 8-12. As for Winter Park, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.
