Basketball Recap: Wells Starts off Right with Win over Rauner

Wells took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They blew past the Rauner Wildcats 72-23. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Cornell Barrow, who posted 19 points. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen McKissack, who scored 13 points.

Coming up, Wells and Wolcott College Prep will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Rauner, they will face off against Noble Street College Prep at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
