M Leininger put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Springfield Southeast is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-15 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Leininger and Springfield Southeast are taking a road trip to square off against Pekin at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
