After losing to Ellis the last time they met, Ellinwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles blew past the Railroaders 16-6 on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Bennett Jacobs was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Jacobs was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played.

Those four hits gave Behnke a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Makynna Bryant, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double.
