Football Recap: Fullerton Comes Up Short

If Fullerton was riding high fresh off their 44-18 takedown of Nebraska Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors were outmatched by the Archangels Catholic Defenders and fell 46-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Cael Dubas threw for 152 yards on 18 of 33 attempts. Isaac Supik was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards.

Gavin Geilenkirchen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Archangels Catholic, rushing for 200 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. Geilenkirchen is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Fullerton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Archangels Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Fullerton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 52-34 win against Riverside on the 17th. As for Archangels Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-32 defeat against Howells-Dodge on the 17th.
