Softball Recap: Colonial Forge Takes a Loss

Colonial Forge came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Riverbend Bears, falling 10-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 8th.

Colonial Forge now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Riverbend, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Coming up, Colonial Forge will challenge Patriot at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverbend, they will take on Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
