Basketball Recap: Muskego Comes Up Short

Muskego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oak Creek Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (59), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Oak Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyson Busch out in front who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Quan Turner, who earned 19 points.

Muskego's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oak Creek, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Muskego will challenge Catholic Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-70 win against Oconomowoc on the 11th.
