Connersville came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against East Central, but Natalie Stenger wouldn't allow it. The East Central Trojans secured a 46-42 W over the Connersville Spartans on Thursday thanks in part to Stenger, who went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Those eight boards gave her a new career-high.

Despite the defeat, Connersville had strong showings from Ahniyah Bennett, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Serenity Pennington, who had 16 points.

With the win, East Central broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-11. As for Connersville, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

East Central will square off against Franklin Community at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Connersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
