Baseball Recap: Hortonville Polar Bears vs. West De Pere Phantoms

There's no place like home for Hortonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the West De Pere Phantoms on Friday as the Hortonville Polar Bears made off with a 10-3 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Hortonville considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Bo Anderson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Jack Coenen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Turner Kuhnke, who went 4-for-4 with a double.

Hortonville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. As for West De Pere, they now have a losing record at 12-13.
