Basketball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold lost against Sonoraville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ringgold Tigers lost 59-38 to the Sonoraville Phoenix. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Phoenix are ranked 39th).

Ringgold dropped their record down to 12-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sonoraville, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Ringgold will take on Coahulla Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coahulla Creek will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ringgold surely won't give up without a fight. Sonoraville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
