Softball Recap: La Pine Gets the Win

La Pine took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Harrisburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hawks won by a run and slipped past the Eagles 11-10. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 14-3 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kylee Parks, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jade Seymour, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run.

La Pine's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Harrisburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-5 record.
