Basketball Recap: Hilliard Davidson Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hilliard Davidson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Sunday. They secured a 57-52 W over the Grove City Greyhounds on Tuesday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 61-44 win the Greyhounds walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Several Greyhounds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Demitri Adado, who posted 16 points. Adado's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Saxton, who put up 11 points.

The victory got Hilliard Davidson back to even at 3-3. As for Grove City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hilliard Davidson will take on Dublin Coffman in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hilliard Davidson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Grove City and Pickerington North will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pickerington North will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Grove City surely won't give up without a fight.
