There's no place like home for Decatur, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 53-19 win over the Jefferson Raiders. Given the Golden Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Raiders are ranked 256th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Devin Caoagdan threw for 70 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Malick Jatta rushed for 55 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Decatur's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Jefferson, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
