After flying high against Whitko last Friday, Peru came back down to earth. The Peru Tigers took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewis Cass Kings. The Tigers gained 166 more yards on the day, but it was the Kings that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Peru still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Korba, who rushed for 290 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Korba is now averaging an impressive 150 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Tanner Boggs, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Even though they lost, Peru was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 449 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewis Cass only gained 283.

Northwestern will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lewis Cass surely won't give up without a fight.
