Football Recap: Bridge City Finds Playoff Glory Versus Navasota + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bridge City had no problem doing just that on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 28-27 photo finish over the Navasota Rattlers. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

It was another big night for Abraham Munguia, who rushed for 50 yards and two scores, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and one TD.

Navasota's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jace Jablonski, who threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns. Caysien Douglas was another key player, picking up 45 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Bridge City's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Navasota, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

As of now, neither Bridge City nor the Rattlers have any future games scheduled.
