Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Rockhurst back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawklets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Rockhurst scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Rockhurst found their leader in freshman Philip Pfeiffer, who had eight digs.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Rockhurst, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Nixa on the 29th. As for Rockhurst, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against St. Pius X on the 29th.
