Football Recap: Winter Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Winter Springs played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Dakota Ridge Eagles and fell 38-7. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-0.

Isaac Johnson threw for 51 yards on five of 14 attempts. On the ground, Marje Foster-Wilson rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Winter Springs fell to 2-1. As for Dakota Ridge, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winter Springs will challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will square off against Mesa Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
