Football Game Recap: Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs vs. Minneola Wildcats

On Friday, Sylvan-Lucas was the victim of a rough 28-6 defeat at the hands of Minneola. Sylvan-Lucas has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Lang was his usual excellent self, rushing for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 118 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Lang was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.

Sylvan-Lucas' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Minneola, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Sylvan-Lucas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Minneola will head out on the road to face off against South Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
