Softball Recap: Glenn Rockets vs. Wayne Memorial Zebras

Glenn won against Summit Academy last Wednesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Glenn Rockets never let the Wayne Memorial Zebras onto the board and left with a 16-0 victory. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for Glenn this season.

Chelsie VanHooser was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. VanHooser has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. VanHooser was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Glenn let Brooklyn Busby and Sam Farrell loose on the outfield.
