Basketball Game Preview: King's Christian Knights vs. The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers

King's Christian and The Pilgrim Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The King's Christian Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.

King's Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Gloucester County Christian on Saturday. King's Christian enjoyed a cozy 52-35 win over Gloucester County Christian.

King's Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Matt Johnson out in front who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Atkins, who earned 18 points.

Meanwhile, The Pilgrim Academy was beaten by Timothy Christian 75-31 two weeks ago. The match marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for The Pilgrim Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for King's Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

King's Christian beat The Pilgrim Academy 52-41 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will King's Christian repeat their success, or does The Pilgrim Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
