Brock Cornell Drops League-Best Effort on Friday

Starting off the list is West Allegheny's Brock Cornell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Cornell made eight total tackles and defended a pass. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (156) he has had since back in September of 2023. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because West Allegheny is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Montour pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Hopper and Montour will face off against Aliquippa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
