Saint Thomas Aquinas waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Rock Bridge Bruins by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Saint Thomas Aquinas took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13.

Grace Martin paced Saint Thomas Aquinas' offense, picking up nine kills. Martin got some help from Alayna Vaeth and her 16 assists. Gabi Poeschl controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Saint Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Rock Bridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.
