Volleyball Recap: Viroqua Blackhawks vs. Luther Knights
Viroqua was the 3-2 winner over Luther when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Viroqua Blackhawks fell just short of the Luther Knights by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Viroqua took Luther into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 20-25, 24-26, 15-10.

Viroqua's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Luther, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Viroqua will challenge Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arcadia will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Viroqua surely won't give up without a fight. As for Luther, they are taking a road trip to square off against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
