Soccer Game Preview: Lopez vs. Porter

Lopez is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will face off against the Porter Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. Porter took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lopez, who comes in off a win.

Lopez's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial 3-0. Lopez might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Porter didn't have quite enough to beat Sharyland on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Lopez, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
