Volleyball Recap: Algoma Takes a Loss

Algoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Lauren Loucks paced Algoma's offense, picking up four kills. Loucks got some help from Tessa LeBotte and her four assists.

Algoma's defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 26-8.

Algoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Florence on the 18th. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Peshtigo on the 18th.
